776 Ezell Road, Lavaca, Alabama, 36904
"CATCH THIS!" Ours is a story of a two-room dog trot cabin which turned into one of the South's favorite restaurants. The famous cabin was once used as a camp house by the Ezell Family and later as the home of Mr. & Mrs. C. A. Ezell. Pauline was the original cook, setting up a huge pot in the yard and making appointments for FISH FRIES in the 1930's. The cost was $.50 per meal By 1950, the couple had a flourishing restaurant, but it was not until 1954 when the family, which included three children, decided to move. Ezell's then became a full time eating establishment.
