Thanks to the support of our community, the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties has been able to carry out our mission by supporting our community’s front lines, which helps ensure the safety and longevity of our community during this COVID-19 crisis. 1) The YMCA is providing meals to children every weekday at eight distribution sites across the Fargo/Moorhead area. These meals are FREE for children 18 and under and include a supper and snack in a to-go-style bag each day. For more information, visit us online at ymcacassclay.org/covidmeals. 2) The YMCA is providing child care services for essential personnel in our community, those of you who are continuing to work the front lines and keep our community safe and thriving. These services are being offered at six locations in the Fargo/Moorhead area and are accepting six-week-olds through fifth graders. For more information, visit us online at ymcacassclay.org/essentialcare. 3) The YMCA is providing virtual options for our community to stay engaged and healthy during this time through online fitness classes, nutrition tutorials, and step-by-step children’s activities.
