Paul A. Shapero, M. D., PA, is a private allergy practice devoted to uncovering the causes of a patient’s long-term and recurring nose, sinus, ear, skin, food, stomach, lung problems and foggy brain.
We also promote healthy lifestyle choices including exercise, stress management, adequate rest, a well balanced diet and mucus control.
This approach leads to healing and a decreased need for medications, which then leads to improved quality of life on less medication which is life-long! This approach saves patients money with more energy and no foggy brain.
We provide allergy testing for pollen from trees, grasses, weeds, house dust, dogs, cats, foods, and medications including penicillin.
Breathing tests for asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) are also included as part of our practice.
A unique feature of our practice is that we provide opportunities to participate in new drug study trials. These study trials provide patients with new medicines, laboratory tests, education to better control symptoms, as well as access to our office staff, all at no cost to patients. This creates a win for patients and a win for others suffering the same issues as well as a win for understanding disease with improved treatments.
