COVID-19 & Northeast Wisconsin Foot and Ankle Associates:
While we are aligning our protocols with recommendations from the CDC, area health systems, and complying to the measures put forth by state and federal authorities, WE ARE CONTINUING TO SEE PATIENTS IN OUR APPLETON CLINIC.
Part of the recommendations we have implemented include the following:
1-Screening all patients, prior to and upon arrival to their appointment, for symptoms or events that are considered at risk as it relates to COVID19.
2-Patients are urged to come to their appointments alone unless it is necessary for one other person to accompany them, such as is the case for minors or those with physical or cognitive challenges. If a guest accompany’s a patient, they will be roomed with the patient or will need to leave the facility while the patient is in their appointment. We currently are not allowing guests to remain in the reception area.
3-We are practicing social distancing in all areas, as reasonable.
4-Providing Personal Protective Equipment and hand-sanitizer as needed..
5-Strict sanitation of all surfaces and door handles after each patient interaction.
6-Practicing of CDC recommendations for hand washing and sanitizing after each patient interaction.
