Free Intern ASL Interpreter Program
Interns are provided the mentorship, training, advocacy and help with locating and applying for scholarships and grants. As interns become ready to join the local workforce, NOSLS helps locate and secure job positions for interns to be hired or contracted by other local reputable interpreting agencies.
Sign language interpreting is a rapidly expanding field. Schools, government agencies, hospitals, court systems, and private businesses employ interpreters. Interpreters work in a variety of settings including medical, legal, religious, mental health, rehabilitation, performing arts and business.
