Girls on the Run of Southern Idaho

Girls on the Run is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Over 1.4 million girls across the nation have participated in our program and we believe the girls throughout Southern Idaho would truly benefit from the experience. In fact, a longitudinal study conducted in 2016 provided the following evidence-based outcomes:

** 97% of Girls on the Run participants said they learned critical life skills including managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others or making intentional decisions that they can use at home, at school and with their friends

** Girls who were the least active at the start of the program increased their physical activity by more than 40%

** Girls on the Run made a stronger impact on teaching life skills to participants than did organized sports or physical education.

We are looking for volunteers to coach our teams for our Spring 2021 season throughout Southern Idaho, including Twin Falls and the Wood River Valley. Coaching is a wonderful experience and way to give back to your community.
