Georges’ River Market & Butchery

Georges’ River Market & Butchery is a family owned business located in Central Alabama. We have been involved with raising livestock for over 50 years. Originally from the Midwest, we moved south and noticed an absence of farmers selling directly to consumers. We offer a variety of pork, beef, lamb and chicken products. We also support local farmers and vendors throughout Alabama and the Southeast by selling only local goods in our store. During produce season we offer a variety of farm-fresh vegetables and fruits, and every Thursday-Sunday we have homemade baked goods available. Our goal is to provide customers with a one-on-one experience, and educate the public about the importance of agriculture. We sell to individual customers, local restaurants, and at farmers markets across the state.
