Gates Automotive Group was founded in 1928 by L.O. Gates here in SouthBend/Mishawaka. In nearly 90 years since the founding, we have been passed down in the family from L.O. to Van Gates, onto Bill and Larry Gates, to our current family members, Joel Gates and Matt Helmkamp. Over our many years, our goal has always been to serve our community with high quality products, service and respect. We have and will continue to be highly involved in our community and local areas.
