Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region (BBBSMCR)'s mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of all youth. BBBSMCR facilitates thoughtful mentorship matches between adult volunteers (Bigs) and community youth (Littles), and provides the Big, Little, and Little's parents/guardians with ongoing mentorship support through our office. Bigs and Littles meet 2-4 times per month over the course of a year, either at the Little's school or out in the community, and can share the kinds of activities they already like to do.

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus pandemic, our matches are unfortunately unable to meet in-person at this time. However, BBBSMCR Program staff continues to work remotely, providing ongoing support for our Bigs, Littles, and families, as well as ideas on how to stay virtually connected during this time.

BBBSMCR serves approximately 200 youth each year in the counties of Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, and Shiawassee.
