Alabama Audubon
For Alabama's birds and bird lovers
3720 4th Ave. S. 2nd Floor, Birmingham, Alabama, 35222
Founded in 1946 as the Birmingham Audubon Society, Alabama Audubon has since grown to become our state’s leading non-profit promoting conservation and a greater knowledge of birds, their habitats, and the natural world. While we’re certified as a chapter of the National Audubon Society, we are also an independent 501(c)(3) with staffed offices in Birmingham and Mobile. A glimpse into some of the many things we do includes free online courses during COVID-19, conservation work throughout the state, bird-based economic development in the Black Belt, hosting field trips to just about every ecoregion and habitat in the state, and much more.

Events and Information
In response to social distancing and stay-at-home rules for Alabama during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering free online courses as a public service to help folks continue to learn about the birds they love. While these will initially be offered for free, please support our work if you are able and make a tax-deductible donation at alaudubon.org/give. Please make sure to comply with all state and local social-distancing regulations.
